Kay&L went behind-the-scenes of Fil-Am Fashion where we had the pleasure of capturing behind-the-scenes of their first annual Fil-Am Fashion Week. We had the opportunity to go beyond the red carpet capturing all corners of this event, we gained access to the glam squad getting everyone ready for the runway, the models on the catwalk, the Fil-Am team at work pulling it all together, the vendors showcasing their unique goods, and guests that enjoyed it all.
Fil-Am Fashion week is a cultural and economic empowerment platform to provide visibility for people of Philippine heritage and their allies in the world of fashion. Fil-Am Fashion was founded in 2021 by a small group of Seattle based Fil-Am entrepreneurs and members of the National Federation of Filipinx-American Associations.
Fil-Am Fashion was a beautiful production, you could tell there were countless hours poured into the event filled with talented designers DOVI SEATTLE, Domz Ramos, Veejay Fluoresce, Sophia Luchianni, Hiyas Dance Group, and Bennyroyce Dance..
We celebrate and honor Fil-Am's commitment to sustainable fashion within the fashion industry.
